Pile it all on
Well, as much to ease my own nerves as anything else, I took Dex to the doctor today to listen to his breathing. As it turns out, the still-smiling Dexter had slightly lower than normal oxygen levels and wheezing. Given that he's been caught wheezing twice at such a young age, the doctor recommends treating this aggressively. Apparently this approach helps him later on, too. So the good-natured Dexter had a chest x-ray (smiling the whole time, in contrast to his brother, who would scream and cry hysterically) and a nebulizer session (during which he fell asleep). His wheezing went away, but he still has to have oral steroids.
Oh, and because of the antibiotics, he has thrush.
So now, in addition to the list below, he ASLO has:
AM: Nystatin, Orapred, Pulmicort and Xopanex
PM: [same]

So, is that apartment at Peri's available longterm, so that you can get doting grandparent help with all these needs?
Syl,
You're a superstar. My (non-religious) prayers are with you and the little'uns...
